Jon Leong
Regional Director - North Asia
Jon Leong assumed his role of Country Manager, China for BDP Project Logistics in 2003 and now serves as Regional Director of North Asia. Based in Shanghai, he is responsible for all global project logistics activities for BDP in China.
Leong’s entire career has been dedicated to the field of project logistics. Prior his present position he spent a number of years managing project logistics in Africa and Europe, where he handled heavy lift moves and vessel chartering.
Leong’s logistics sector experience includes oil and gas, petrochemical, power plant construction, and chemical plant construction projects in Africa and China. He is experienced in all areas of compliance for imports into China, especially import certificate applications.
A native of Dalian, China, he is a 1987 honors graduate of Dalian University, with a degree in Business Administration.
