Dennis Devlin

Director - Global Projects & Energy

Dennis Devlin has spent the majority of his career in the international transportation and logistics industry, focusing on the niche field of project logistics. In 2004 he was named Director of Global Projects & Energy. In his current role, Devlin is responsible for BDP’s global project logistics activities. He is based in Houston, Texas.

He has held various positions within BDP International, in Houston, as well as at BDP’s Corporate Headquarters in Philadelphia. Previously, Devlin was Regional Manager of Project Logistics in Shanghai for BDP Asia Pacific, a wholly-owned subsidiary. While in Shanghai, he was active in the Shanghai American Chamber of Commerce, serving as Vice-Chairman of the AmCham Logistics Committee.

Devlin has managed logistics for power plant construction, chemical and pharmaceutical plant construction, and civil projects globally, with an emphasis on projects in the Asia Pacific region.

He is a native of Wilmington, Delaware and a 1987 honors graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University, with degrees in Economics and Political Science. He also pursued studies in Glasgow, Scotland; Paris, France; as well as Taipei and Shanghai, where he studied the Chinese language.
