BDP sets up Singapore unit
Source: Upstream Online, December 18, 2009 – BDP Project Logistics has established a new subsidiary in Singapore to provide project management services for transportation of upstream oil and gas infrastructure.
The new subsidiary will offer turnkey logistics solutions from supply chain management of rig construction and floating production, storage and offloading vessel conversions to transportation of offshore structures, BDP Oil and Gas commercial director, Martin Runshaug said.
The Singapore unit will also offer consultancy services related to transportation tenders in the upstream oil and gas sector, according to Runshaug.
BDP Project Logistics is part of US-based BDP International, a private-owned freight logistics and transportation management outfit active in more than 120 countries.
