BDP Project Logistics opens Abu Dhabi unit
Source: American Shipper, August 27, 2009 – Singapore-based BDP Project Logistics has opened an office in Abu Dhabi to focus on the oil and gas infrastructure and power generation sectors, the company said.
BDP Project Logistics is a wholly owned subsidiary of BDP International. The company said the Abu Dhabi office has been established as a separate legal entity with the United Arab Emirates to position itself for government tenders.
“Of the seven emirates, Abu Dhabi has been the least affected by the current economic downturn, and is assisting the others in their recovery efforts,” said Virendra Sehgal, regional director for BDP Project Logistics in the Middle East. “Additionally, it is expected to rebound strongly in the region.”
