BDP Project Logistics Launches New Website

Source: LogisticsWorld, February 26, 2009 – “We have established this website to show existing and potential clients the breadth of full, turnkey logistics management services we can deliver, ” said Peter Huels, BDP Project Logistics CEO.

BDP Project Logistics, a wholly owned subsidiary of BDP International, has launched a new website showcasing its ability to handle complex, large-scale projects on a global basis.

The new website provides information about the company, its services, local expertise including a gallery of projects, global locations and contact information, and a video of a recent, particularly challenging project in Europe. Also included is a technology section, featuring the BDPSmart (www.bdpsmart.com) service portal providing clients direct access to a customizable suite of transportation and logistics tools.

“We have established this website to show existing and potential clients the breadth of full, turnkey logistics management services we can deliver, ” said Peter Huels, BDP Project Logistics CEO. “In this business there is no substitute for experience. We have a successful track record of delivering projects of every dimension, from the simplest to the most complex, including specialized lifts, oversize cargo and customized logistics.” That track record includes:

- Transport of a huge chemical reactor, including construction of a temporary bridge over a railway line, to a site in Germany

- Logistics and transport of machinery and equipment from Europe, Japan and North America for construction of a chemical plant in China
